OUR COMPANY

Kaci Beeler, Founding Member / Co-Producer
Kaci Beeler (she/they) is a visual artist, improviser, writer, and stage and film actor based out of Austin, TX. Kaci is best known as the national brand voice for Domino’s Pizza with her ads garnering billions of impressions, an accomplished improviser who has toured to over 85 cities worldwide to teach and perform, and a visionary actor and director with multiple “Best of Austin” & Critics Table awards including ‘Best Actress’ and ‘Outstanding Work in Improvisational Theatre’. Her onscreen highlights include festival darling romcom Match Me If You Can, a custom-written role on Rooster Teeth’s live-action series Day 5, and roles opposite Aaron Eckhart in My All American and Liv Tyler in HBO’s The Leftovers.
She has studied with the world-renowned PUNCHDRUNK theatre company in London, improvised in character for HBO’s critically acclaimed WESTWORLD immersive activation, and is currently part of the writer's room and acting company for a sketch comedy TV pilot being produced in Austin. In addition to ABT, Kaci is also company member with several award-winning improv ensembles and duos including Parallelogramophonograph, The Amazon and The Milksop, and Available Cupholders.

Kaci is beyond thrilled to be working with ABT. She was bitten by the devising bug in 2011, which drove her to create her first devised scripted piece, Blood, Sweat, and Cheers (available through YouthPlays) in 2012/2013, which then led to ABT's first collab Subject to Control (2016), then the epic For Time & Eternity (2017), and then her own baby Killer Girls (2018).
Kaci loves to make work that pulses with energy and lights people up.

Margaret Hunsicker, Company Member
Margaret Hunsicker (she/her) is a prolific creator, performer and teacher devoted to the altars of improv and expression. When she isn’t blasting full-throttle into a live show, streaming her 20+ years of improv and acting experience into a classroom full of willing minds, or intensely focused on a variety of physical crafts, she is going straight-up Kirby-vacuum-mode on any information regarding her latest interest.

She joined American Berserk Theatre in 2017 to devise and perform in “For Time and Eternity,” and has been a part of every project since, including “Killer Girls,” “The Pitch,” “The Seminar,” and “Hell is These Four People.” She was made a core member of the company in 2019.
Most of her creative time is spent in the realm of improvised narrative theatre, which makes her a dynamic and confident performer—as well as an incisive director and creator of devised productions. She teaches these skills at the Hideout Theatre in Austin, where she performs weekly. Many of the shows she directs are also created for the Hideout stages. She has continued bossing people around at the Hideout as the Youth Education Director since early 2025.

Because of her compulsive desire to learn and practice, she has completed programs at Second City (2021) and the Annoyance (2022) in Chicago, the Hideout Theatre (2015) and the Institution Theater (2016) in Austin, and the University of Central Florida (2014) in Orlando—where she completed dual Bachelor’s degrees in Theatre and French. During her 3-year stint in Chicago, she performed regularly at the Annoyance and Otherworld Theatres.

Her other endeavors have included directing, devising and performing in theatre for social change at Creative Action, where she revamped the anti-sexual harassment program for middle schoolers and brought an interactive anti-bullying show to thousands of fourth-graders throughout her tenure (2015-2020). She has dabbled in film, winning “Best Actress” in the 2020 Austin Short Film Festival and starring in the full-length feature “Touchy-Feely” with Velvet Glove Productions (2022). Margaret is a drag king, and recently produced a drag game-show called “Who’s Your Daddy?” at the Fallout Theater in Austin (2024).

Margaret loves horror movies, cats, fantasy romance novels, Japanese cuisine, shopping, writing, birds, travel and swimming. Her favorite color is beet.

J.R. Zambrano, Company Member
J.R. Zambrano (he/him) is an Austin-based Actor, Director, Improviser, and Writer. He's been performing for more than 15 years now, the last four of which have been at the Hideout Theatre where he's been in productions like Fiasco and I'll Take the Physical Challenge, and directed productions including the sold-out La Vida de los Muertos, an improvised narrative set in the world of the dead, and How I Saved The World Over Summer Vacation an 80's-fueled show about kids on bikes saving the world.
If you corner him when he's not on the stage you'll find he writes for the internet, which explains a lot if you think about it. He'd like to thank Shaquille O'Neal whose presence both on and off-screen in Barkley, Shut Up and Jam: Gaiden was all too brief, but legendary nonetheless.
